Alain Bismuth
Alain is a 25-year veteran of the semiconductor industry. He was most recently Vice President of Sales and Business Development at MultiPhy, a leading provider of optical communication solutions to the datacenter and 5G wireless infrastructure markets. He brings a wealth of experience in international marketing, sales, and general management at Fortune 500 companies and start-ups.

Tom co-founded Ultraleap after exploring ultrasound technology during the final year of his Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Bristol. In his previous role as Chief Technology Officer, Tom developed the technology and the engineering team to see his vision evolve into two technologies, across three verticals. Tom became CEO in August 2021.

Rowena joined Ultraleap in 2022 as SVP Engineering. Charlotte joined Ultraleap as General Counsel in 2019. Charlotte’s background is in corporate finance and prior to joining Ultraleap she spent six years with DAC Beachcroft LLP advising on a wide range of M&A, investment and banking transactions.

Anne-Sofie joined in 2019 as Senior Vice President Global Talent and People. She was most recently Talent Partner at IP Group, a FTSE 250 venture capital firm and investor in Ultraleap. Before joining IP Group, she built her career at two of the leading international executive search firms, Korn Ferry Whitehead Mann and Russell Reynolds.

Chris Olds
Chris joined Ultraleap as Chief Financial Officer in 2018. During his previous eight years at IP Group, Chris led the technology focussed corporate finance advisory team and was responsible for UK portfolio investor targeting and relations. Chris is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from Oxford University.

Miguel joined the company in January 2023 as SVP Product. Miguel joins Ultraleap with extensive experience in building and leading global product organisations. Most recently he held the SVP Product post at Kaltura, a video streaming company that listed on the NASDAQ in 2022. He previously led Vodafone’s TV efforts as the Group Head of TV Product.

Kunal Dasgupta
Kunal is a founding partner of Mayfair Equity Partners. Prior to Mayfair, Kunal worked in the London office of LDC where he completed several investments including uSwitch, OnApp and BoomPictures/TwoFour. Kunal has a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mark has extensive experience in the information and communications technology sector, working with a broad spectrum of organisations from blue-chip multinationals and NGOs to early-stage start-ups. Prior to joining IP Group, Mark was the founder and Managing Director of Remarkable Innovation. Mark holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK.

Shiva Tiwari
Shiva is Managing Director at Mayfair Equity Partners and has completed a number of investment transactions in the technology sector. Previously, Shiva worked in TMT Investment Banking at Credit Suisse, advising funds and corporates on M&A, and prior to this he was a Private Equity Lawyer at Clifford Chance, negotiating and structuring leveraged buyouts. Shiva is member of the Law Society of England & Wales, holds a degree in Law from The London School of Economics (LSE) and an MBA from INSEAD Business School.

Michael Tobin OBE
Michael joined Ultraleap as Chairman in January 2015 and is also Chairman of a number of businesses including Audioboom plc, Big Blu Broadband plc, Pulsant Ltd and Patchwork Health Ltd. He was previously CEO of TelecityGroup plc, a major FTSE 250 technology company, where he led the business from a market cap of £6m to Europe’s leading Data Centre operator worth over £1.5bn. In 2014 he was awarded an OBE by the Queen for Services to the Digital Economy.

Hossein graduated from the University of Birmingham with a PhD in electronics and communication, before embarking on his career working at Inmos, STMicroelectronics and Videologic, which later became Imagination Technologies in 1999. Hossein received a knighthood in the 2013 New Year Honours in recognition of his services to technology and innovation.
